Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Sydney earned her undergraduate degree in Community Health from Montana State University—Go Cats! After graduation, she moved to South America, where she taught English before returning to the U.S. to pursue her nursing career. Sydney completed her RN and Nurse Practitioner training in Nashville, Tennessee. After the first year, she transitioned to a hybrid learning model that allowed her to relocate to New Hampshire. There, she also completed a nurse residency program on a trauma-orthopedic floor at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. For the past four years, Sydney has worked in outpatient neurology, providing care across Montana—from Sidney to Butte. Her approach to medicine emphasizes compassion, patient education, and continuity of care. “I want patients to know we are on the same team. I never want patients to feel as though their voice is not being heard. Slipping through the cracks is a feeling many are familiar with and that is not something I want anyone to ever feel while at our clinic.” Outside of work, Sydney enjoys mountain biking, reading, painting, attending live music events, picking huckleberries, and beating her husband at Rummy.
